Some are healthcare project managers, environmental engineers or policy makers whose influence touches millions. Some are nurses and teachers who have saved or changed thousands of lives. Many have founded Community Based Organisations, or achieved key jobs in NGOs within or outside Myanmar.
Even more exciting, their influence becomes greater as they progress through their careers. Together, they are a wave of positive change, equipped with the knowledge and skills to create an alternative, peaceful future for Myanmar.
Pre-coup, 85% of alumni were employed in key roles within three years of graduating, with 38% working in health and education. Three quarters were working for local CBOs and NGOs, with the remainder working in the public sector or international organisations including the UN.
